Provisional License Action Network (PLAN) — PLAN is a local coalition working to prevent deaths and injuries from car crashes among new teen drivers. This Web site contains information about the Provisional License Law and tips for parents and teens.

Alive-at-25 Program — 4-hr class put on by law enforcement that addresses the attitudes and responsibilities that come with driving a car. Students can register locally by logging on to the Santa Rosa Junior College community course site.

Every 15-Minute Program — National program supported by local law enforcement and communities to stage car crashes at high schools at every high school in the county at least once every 4 years. The site has information for students and administrators.

Office of Traffic Safety — California state government Web site dedicated to promoting traffic safety.

The 2007 Roadmap to State Highway Safety Laws (PDF, 1.86MB) — This 62-page document contains comprehensive information on California state traffic laws.

AAA Foundation for Driver Safety — The foundation funds research projects to discover the causes of traffic crashes, prevent them, and reduce injuries.  The web site includes free materials, products to purchase, and project information.
